About

  • Watertown-Mayer is committed to a lively, strong, and exciting drama program that provides opportunities for actors, musicians, and technicians to develop their talents and perform for the community. Students are able to participate by acting, as well as, lighting design, sound design, stage management, costuming, and set design and construction.

    There are two drama productions each year at Watertown-Mayer.

    For the upcoming 21-22 school year, Watertown-Mayer will be performing TWO MUSICALS! 
     
    Mamma Mia will be presented on November 18 through the 20. Auditions will be held in the Performing Arts Center on September 9 at 6:00 pm and are open to students in grades 8 through 12.
     
    Another musical, TBD, will be performed April 21 through 23. This production will be open to students in grades 9 through 12. Details regarding auditions and show title will be released by January 1.
     

    In the summer, through Community Education, an original musical for younger students is presented.

    For more information, interested students and parents should contact Drama Director Joyce Peterson in regards to the fall musical and the spring play or the Community Education Office about the summer play.
