About

  • Watertown-Mayer is committed to a lively, strong, and exciting drama program that provides opportunities for actors, musicians, and technicians to develop their talents and perform for the community. Students are able to participate by acting, as well as, lighting design, sound design, stage management, costuming, and set design and construction.

    There are two drama productions each year at Watertown-Mayer.

     
    The spring musical, Curtains will take place in the Performing Arts Center:
    April 21 and 22 at 7:00 pm, and on the 23 at 2:00 and 7:00 pm
     
     
    Auditions for the 2022 fall musical (TBD) will be held on November 13, at 6:30 in the choir room and will be open to students in grades 8-12.
     

    In the summer, through Community Education, an original musical for younger students is presented.

    For more information, interested students and parents should contact Drama Director Joyce Peterson in regards to the fall musical and the spring play or the Community Education Office about the summer play.
