Behind the Scenes Enrichment Club
Behind The Scenes is an enrichment club that allows students the opportunity to get hands on experience in all working areas related to the Performing Arts Center.
There are four parts to the club:
Technical: Students assist in lighting and sound design for school events such as theater productions, assemblies, and music concerts. Students will also have the opportunity to webcast school events using their ipads via The Cube.
House Management: Students learn advertising and marketing skills to promote events in the PAC. They are also available to usher for district and outside group events.
Costume/Hair/Make Up: Students create costumes and manage the costume and properties for the high school theater department. They also are used as the hair and make up staff for the productions.
Set Construction/Art: Students assist in the construction of sets not only for the high school theater productions, but also create set pieces for school events such as concerts and homecoming coronation. In addition, students create the artwork that is used for advertising posters and t-shirts.
