Mock Trial is an extra-curricular academic challenge activity for students in grades 9-12.  Students study and research a legal case, learn argumentation strategies, and practice portraying witnesses or attorneys.  As the season progresses, a Varsity and JV team are selected and those students go on to compete against other high schools in scrimmages, and then regional competition.

Practice for Mock Trial begins in late October, and the competition season takes place in January - March.  The trials are scheduled by the Minnesota State Bar Association and that schedule is not posted until December.
