If your family is staying in a shelter, hotel, or temporarily with others because you’ve lost or cannot afford your own housing, there is help available to you. Watertown-Mayer Schools are guided by the McKinney–Vento Homeless Assistance Act. Offers support and resources to find affordable housing. Manages the family and adult coordinated entry point for the homeless. Assists with affordable housing units in Carver County. Offers budgeting education, foreclosure assistance and first time home buyer classes -- no income limit to attend.
