Teaching & Learning

The mission of Watertown-Mayer Public Schools is "Growth through connections and opportunities."  We work towards this mission by committing to provide our learners with broad, relevant, and engaging learning experiences.  Our educational programs are designed around the knowledge, competencies and skills students will need as they prepare for life, work, and service beyond the classroom.
The Department of Teaching and Learning focuses on developing and cultivating pathways for every student to experience success and provides support, guidance, and direction for what we teach, strategies for teaching, and tools to measure and analyze what our students have learned.  The teaching staff at Watertown-Mayer is continually defining and refining instructional programs to meet the diverse needs of all students in the district.

If you have questions regarding the district’s K – 12 curriculum or any information on the Teaching and Learning webpages, please contact Joe Vieau, Director of Teaching and Learning.
