It is our goal to make sure that all students have equal access to the technology devices needed for education.

Technology Devices
Watertown-Mayer Public Schools uses a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) model for classroom technology.  Students in grades 5-12 have two different options when deciding what device they will use in school:

• Check out a school-owned device
• Bring a device from home that you already own

Discounted Internet Access
The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) provides eligible households a discount of up to $30 per month off their internet bills (or up to $75 per month for households living on Tribal lands), as well as a one-time discount of up to $100 off an eligible connected device like a laptop, desktop computer or tablet. In many cases, households can get high-speed internet without paying a dime by choosing a fully covered internet plan.  You can get more information and find out if you qualify at GetInternet.gov.

Mobile Hotspots
We have a limited number of mobile wifi hotspots available for families that need them.  Hotspots may be checked out for a period of 14 days.
