• Watertown-Mayer Public Schools Covid-19 Information

The purpose of this dashboard is to provide the WM community with transparency regarding the COVID-19 cases in our school.  Individuals who have tested positive are required to isolate.  Close contacts are notified.

Our goal is for COVID-19 numbers to decrease, so it is important we continue to take the necessary safety precautions. Wearing a mask and practicing social distancing are strongly recommended. Hand washing and cleaning are ongoing practices at Watertown-Mayer Public Schools. Staying home when sick and getting tested as needed are also important in limiting spread. Our community can help keep case rates low by following the same practices.

The WM dashboard will be updated weekly on Fridays.
Cases are recorded on the dashboard according to the date tested, not the date that the data was received by the district.  This means that each Friday the previous week's data will be updated and new cases will be added for the current week.

  • Who Should Get Tested?

  • Public Health is pleased to announce their plan to open a free COVID-19 community testing site at the Lake Waconia Event Center.  COVID-19 testing will be available every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, beginning the week of October 25 with limited appointments, and expanded testing capacity starting the week of November 1.

Access to low-cost COVID-19 testing has been a barrier for many Carver County residents.  There is no cost for the COVID-19 saliva tests at the Lake Waconia Event Center, and individuals will not be asked to show identification or health insurance information.  Pulic Health plans to keep the testing site operational for as long as it's needed.
Free COVID-19 Communty testing at Lake Waconia Event Center. Testing is available Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays 12-4.
